Wonderful final panel. I anticipate much stammering on Natani's part. I don't personally believe that Natani has fully sorted out her own feelings. She harbors desires for Keith that she doesn't fully admit to or understand, and that she feels are inappropriate for a man to feel for another man. Even though she's dared a kiss before, she clearly hasn't been ready to fully address what Keith might mean to her and what she might want him to mean.

Though I think we'll pick up with Flora and Trace or Kat in short order.

Im expecting either an interruption or a cut to group B. But I think Tom might actually go through with this and let them finally have their moment.

I stand by my earlier comments and predictions that he will let them have this talk, if only for a short while. Y'know, it just occurred to me that the... "interruptions" of situations past may well have only been delaying this moment because neither of them were ready to say these things to each other yet...

Maybe he was building up emotional pressure on both their parts so this event would be more concrete, and so they would have time to be more sure of their feelings and have less akwardness if and/or when they discovered they didn't have the same feelings as the other.

But.. That couldn't be, could it?

Not sure what to make of this. He seems to have noticed a change in Natani's attitude starting from when they woke up. The only thing I can guess is that, with her brother unconscious, Natani's actual personality may be showing through.

That...that is actually an excellent theory, chickenhawk!
Since the is a "perma-link" is broken for now, we maybe see Nat's true personalty coming through by the time...

...Anyway, Natani, why can't you just simply say that the ‘Heart’s Desire’ spell may have betrayed Keith's feelings for you? Even if he doesn't realize it he feels that he needs her to not only fill the void in his heart, but also to help him move on.

This is a major point here. I mentioned this when it happened, and that maybe Keith doesn't even consciously realize it himself. Whatever Laura was, she knew what Keith's innermost desires are, and apparently they include Natani in some very significant way. The one thing we're sure about now is that Laura definitely got through to Natani not only what Keith was feeling, but made a major impression on her how important it was.
