Well I guess we still need to wait to see if any of theories were correct however we do know that the tower is going to explode. I still think someone is going to end up dead after this comic.


I think it is funny how they combined our topics so quickly. We started them at about the same time. If you look at the subjects they are different.

Well, there has to be a reason that the tower seeped in that darn mana stuff, and I believe that has yet to be shown. Might be seeing it's purpose pretty soon...

And the choice was made. Natani is right: it's what Laura wanted, and it'd be an insult to her not to act. Here's hoping the old girl makes it out anyway.

Curiosity: Natani's hair didn't streak gray. I'm surprised by this. I figured the clear mana channel would react as it has in the past.

Nah. I see them both surviving the explosion, albeit barely. Alabaster will be pissed at Laura and will try to finish her off in anger (mana necklaces, assuming they work). But before he can do so, *ching!*- knife in the back, courtesy of Natani.

Either that or Laura will indeed die and Keith will get angsty with Natani over it. I.e. Self-righteously blame her.

I have to say has anyone else noticed how all the women in this comic have very good insight into others emotions so she probably saw how Keith and Natani act towards each other and realized that Natani is in love with Keith thus she wants to sacrifice herself so as to not make keith chosse between someone whose emotions are clear and someone who has already stepped on Keith's heart.

I'm still curious as to whether or not that dark mana absorbed from Trace earlier will have any effect on what happens as was already mentioned. An explosion is one thing but an explosion that more or less reeks of dark mana is something completely different. Also very awesome shot. Can't wait for the next page. I'll admit I'm eager for something along the lines of a Michael Ba-ba-baysplosion!

I have to agree I dont think laura would be able to use a meat shield and Trace is busy with the King, so who would use the magic?

Obviously Laura's not doing an adequate enough job strangling considering 1) Alabaster is still alive and, 2) He is still able to vocalize his words. Granted, she's taking on the living equivalent of a Tesla coil and they both are about to be crushed/exploded into oblivion her 110% effort is clearly not enough. A+ on the distraction accomplishment, however.
