Comic 11/18/09
Holy Crap I pulled this off and posted the comic first! So that's what happened to Alaric's eye...
Re: Comic 11/18/09
I suppose this means Alaric's not dead.
Re: Comic 11/18/09
Sure looks that way from the last panel.

My thoughts exactly, now excuse me while I go prepare for the "In your face" dance to all who said he was dead.bhomer2 wrote:I suppose this means Alaric's not dead.

Always figured he would make it.
Still... lotsa weeks I've been waiting to find out if Laura is okay...
EDIT: And so the generals are allowed to get away with bloody murder despite how lawful the race is?
Also, I wonder why Alabastar is so dang hung up on Cornelius. From what we know he was a drunk a**.

So much info in this one...Keith wasn't his father's son...further evidence that he likely did not kill his father...further evidence that a certain general reeeaaally liked Keith's father...and that Alaric is alive.
Interesting Atl text, too...

I...am so happy right now...
But I wonder: is this shining light on general imperfections of the Basitin legal system, or just on how Alabaster has consistently corrupted it?

Re: Comic 11/18/09
I feel this is a flashback, this proves nothing of Alaric.
At least we know where his cool scar came from. X3
Who'da thunk it was Alabaster who did it?
EDIT: Unless it's Alaric's flashback, I guess....

If my head is filled with more suspense regarding whether Laura is going to die or not my head, may implode.

In the last panel, it's present-day Alaric speaking; the scar is healed and the eye cloudy.supervanman64 wrote:I feel this is a flashback, this proves nothing of Alaric.

Suspense about whom, again? In my excitement, I seem to have forgottenKyeRaor wrote:If my head is filled with more suspense regarding whether Laura is going to die or not my head, may implode.

Re: Comic 11/18/09
Seems old Alabaster's been struggling with those anger management issues for a long time.
And now we know that Alaric's been seeking justice for Keith all his life. It cost him his eye and he never gave up. Poor Alaric. That's friendship right there.
Also, I feel totally vindicated that Alaric knew Keith's father was drunk off his rocker. Next thing you know, we'll find out that Alaric knew Natani had feelings for Keith because she stiffened more when Alaric hugged Keith than when Alabaster struck him. Though I haven't gotten to the point where I wrote that, I want calling it on record right now.

Re: Comic 11/18/09
Wonder if Alabaster's rant about Keith being Cornelius's [censored] son has any significance? Probably just throwing out insults. Although the original connotation for [censored] suggests an illegitimate child.
Re: Comic 11/18/09
Given the huge differences between Keith and Cornelius, and the way Cornelius disapproved of Keith, that's entirely possible, even probable.Schnopps wrote:Wonder if Alabaster's rant about Keith being Cornelius's [censored] son has any significance? I think it was just an insult. I wouldn't look that deep into that.Schnopps wrote:Wonder if Alabaster's rant about Keith being Cornelius's [censored] son has any significance? Probably just throwing out insults. Although the original connotation for [censored] suggests an illegitimate child.
