FIRST
also, "You just swing it"
Its that simple.
Typical Anime cliche, HUGE [censored] SWORD being swung by a TINY [censored] PERSON.
Good update Tom, Very nice.
Edit: floras face in the bottom left pannel... Is now my avatar

Re: Comic for January 19th
Awww, I was about to make it since it seemed, bizarrely, no one else had. I'm glad to see my faith in others posting quick-smart wasn't in vain.
Anyway, I find Kathrin saying that she can't lift her's inordinately hilarious. I'm not sure why.

In the immortal words of Quagmire:
Nows thats a woman. That's a house, that's fish, that's a Bee!
As a friend once asked during D&D: When does my pony turn into a horse? Think about THAT.

BWAHAHAHA!! XD THAT IS AWESOME!! Combat Flora, scared as hell Mike, innocent Kat, and totally relaxed and nonthreatened guard XD That is funny stuff! Awesome switch there from some dying and talk of slavery to a pretty much total comic relief page! XD Very well done Tom! Very well done!
Flora: Don't worry! We found the weapons!
Mike:
We're worrying Flora...we're worrying....

Re: Comic for January 19th
:quick! do you know how to use that thing?
:what, my sword? [censored] yeah I know how to use it! whats to know about "swish, swish, stab?" its a [censored] sword dude, its not a fighter jet!
think Tom watches RVB?
srsly though, that last panel is why I love bastians, just like when that guard was talking to nora.
flora should keep that bandanna on. forever.
***EDIT***
lol the alt-text is "enough with the drama!"
appropriate.

Re: Comic for January 19th
Normally I'd [censored] about the transition, but a little light-hearted comic relief was definitely in order.

Re: Comic for January 19th
I love how flora is the only one dressed up ready to fight off the guards while the others seem to be left in the dark about her plan.
Also humorus how the guard finds no threat at all and even acknowledges her attempt at an assult.

Agree on that! The Basitins are just pure awesome if nothing else but for there way of reacting to things, or rather their way of NOT reacting to things. XD It's just funny to me and I'm glad someone else thinks so too!unsteddyPhoenix wrote:srsly though, that last panel is why I love bastians, just like when that guard was talking to nora.

I love the guard. "No Prob"
I now envision every guard with a totally mellow Californian surfer accent.
That just made the trial scene 10000 times more exciting.

What was it the spider said to the fly...
Re: Comic for January 19th
Caboose: We came home because the glowing sword turned out to be a glowing key
Church: Yeah, a glowing key that can still stab people
Caboose: Right
Church: So it is a sword, it just happens to function like a key in very specific situations
Caboose: Or it's a key all the time, and when you stick it in people... it unlocks their death
Ahh red vs blue... you make my life complete
anyway, anyone else think Flora's er... chest region looks more um... developed? Maybe it's just the shirt, I dunno. Also, love the headband she's wearing, it looks very guerrilla-ish, and lol at kat.

Haha, Flora's hardcore! Not that that's a surprise to anyone...
Man, I love the nonchalance of these Basitin guards; they're awesome!
