Well firstly, Kat's freaking adorable, as always
And for some reason I read the last panel in "Caveman Talk" to myself, making me giggle much more than I should have.

Aaaaand quick edit, just realized Natani was speaking Human/English.
Is this the first time we've seen her not speaking Keidran?

No when Natani and Zen first met Trace they were speaking in Enlgish. And I must agree, Kat looks uber cute right now. Two thumbs up for her wagging tail!

Daww look at Kat all happy about Eric coming back. And yes he's right they did speak human when they first met trace and Co. But I love the fact Eric brought his "piece" back with him. Made me lol over the fact that during all this he was sitting there...painting...having a wonderful time...Man that's a bit jacked don't you think?

Yeah it was a while back, kinda when the group fully formed, Natani did speak Common, but not well and not much. She doesn't seem to have improved despite being surrounded by Humans and Kiedran speaking Common.

Oh, Natani, how I love you and your inarticulate mastery of short sentence fragments. I really enjoy how it seems she couldn't understand anything except Keith's name. Her look of confusion and mounting alarm is also priceless. Well done, Tom. Also, the ship looks very nice, Kat looks suitably adorable, and that tiny lamp is, for some reason, something I think looks very cool.

Earlier at the tower, he was painting his doctor. It's probably that picture. What the poor doctor thought was happening, we'll never know. Another mystery is why he was allowed to keep it...

I agree, this was TOTALY worth staying up for (its 2 oclock here). Kat, of course, looks adorable. Natani's poor english is done beutifuly, and the only thing missing is trace wearing his second glove, which Im hoping will look totaly awesome. (maby its just me, but I think that trace wearing black gloves will somehow make him more awesome, no idea how though.)

Is it just me or is Natani forgeting how to speak human? At first she was speaking almost full sentances but now she's speaking like a cavewolf. God I can't believe I just dissed Natani, I feel like crap now.

Quite possible that she was just saying something she had memorised without knowing the meaning. Or maybe one of her assassin buddies told her how to say that in human.

I think Tom is just putting a lot more thought into each characters interactions than he may have earlier in the comic.\

As usual, Katherine was adorable, Eric is the eager host, but wait....where is Keith?? *bum**buum**buuuuuuuum*

Also glad to see my question on the previous comic's thread get answered about whether or not the "piece" would be brought back .

I can't really blame Tom, he must be under a lot of stress, but did the hills seem a little...lack-luster compared to the otherwise excellent scenery?

She's worried about him because she hasn't seen him since he left to see the "human and the vixen he is carrying". She probably still doesn't even realize the worry she's expressing (for more than just a friend).

I would have to go back to check, but wasn't it Zen who spoke the most during their first meeting? Natani never had much skill with the human language and it shows again though I think it is cute how she shows she is worried about him.
