Man, I was so close. But then again, getting three in a row would have royally freaked me out.

I’m not sure what to say other than Evals looks somewhat awesome in this comic. But then again it could be just because we are in a different location and we haven’t seen him in a while.

Anyway, the alternate text for this one is ‘Caught sleeping red-handed!’.

I’m not sure. But if I had to guess, I’d say it’s because he doesn’t have the Mana to do it/know the spell to fix it. We’d probably need official information on how these sort of things work in that world.

Also, why is there a bead of sweat coming from Evals eye in panel four?

By the Ruinous Powers! What a villainous nap! Truly, Evals is a masterful schemer, to so casually snooze as his dastardly plan does its dark work!

Or, possibly, he was having a nap. I'm gonna be honest, I'm beginning to suspect that maybe its hard to both be evil and have a nap. I mean, sure, you can be evil and then have a nap, but you can't nap evilly. Unless you're napping on the broken bodies of your fallen foes, by Evals doesn't seem to have enough enemies to form a proper corpse-mattress.

Plus, Eric has been awfully grabby these past two comics, yanking people by their collar/shirt. I mean, yes, the ship might have burnt down but there are such things as manners! Additionally, I believe that no mastermind of villainous plans could so manage such an authentic tongue-lolling to fake sleep. Rather undignified.

Eric dosen't seem himself, hes being a bit irrational about this whole mess. He never just angerily jumped to wild conclusions before (Seriously, if someone sets fire to the boat they are on, the last thing they would be doing is SLEEPING on said boat), its almost like either he has something against Evals or is in a panic over something he already knows that we don't.
