I can say I saw this coming. And I feel for Kathrin. And I understand Eric's confusion and reaction. I haven't had a very personal view into most of the comic so far, but this exchange? This is something I can comprehend intimately.

I’m not exactly sure what to say about this one. I’m just curious what his next course of action is going to be and what have Trace and Flora been doing?

I think I can guess Eric's next move. He's going to spend a few moments questioning some of his world view, the fundamental assumptions his life's been based on, and he's not going to like what he sees.

And he's going to have to make a choice, and it's going to be a hard one. From a storytelling point of view, it's obvious what choice he has to make, but Tom's gotten good enough to make it an emotionally powerful moment even then.

It seems Eric finally figured it out. I'd say, 2 out of 3 personally expected couples are sort of verified.(I hope Tom isn't going to do something completely opposite when(lurkers be lurking) he reads my and other people's comments about this.)

I am eagerly awaiting the next part of this tale! I really want to see how Eric handles the situation now, but I suspect things will turn out better for everyone in the long run (well, maybe not Evals; I'm still convinced he's potentially dangerous).

No, but seriously, this was totally predictable. And I don't mean from last week, I mean from when kat and Natani were sitting down talking. Next thing you know, Eric's joining the others on the way to Lyn'Knoll. Though, personally, I think E should take the whip to the lot of them for insubordination.
