I'm appreciative that Keith, while he'll bear scars, will keep his eye. I usually really like eye patches, but I just don't think the look properly suits Keith. Well, it suits him fine right now, because it's another indicator of how battered he is, but I can't wait for him to have use of it again. Tom did a good job giving Keith the feeling of emotional depth here, underscoring Keith's apparent need to torture himself and never share that pain, keeping it bottled up instead. It's consistent with the character since his introduction (and particularly since the introduction of his past with Laura) and I strongly approve.

I'm glad Trace has figured out that there are some things he needs to do himself. Even if the best he can do is only partly ruined, the fact that he worked on it, that he tried is what's going to stick with Flora.

His eye isn’t damaged, good. I was worried that, when it was time to take the patch off, he would have a large scare and be blind in that eye. Forever reminding him of his friend, their fight and his death which Keith believes is his fault.

It slightly does for me too now that you mention it. It me, it looks like he’s ‘clipping’ (I think that’s the term) through the table. But then again, he could just be leaning over the table and his loose shirt is draping over the table.

What looks off to me is Trace’s glove in the fourth panel. It looks like it just goes down to his palm rather than his wrist.
