I guess it will be explained later, but I'm sure everyone would like to know how Natani and Zen accomplished this while her mana crystals were depleted.

Someone's welcome to correct me on this, but I remember it involving a ritual Keidran mages can perform to produce mana. I'd go archive diving if I had the time, but I already know for a fact that it's never been shown or spoken about beyond an idle reference or two, if even that, in the comic itself. I might have even just picked it up from something out of canon, though what I couldn't begin to guess at.

Whether I'm right or wrong, however, I'm still hoping that it does get properly explained soon. More world-building is rarely a bad thing.
