I think the middle panel justifies my belief that Maddy is a fairly decent con artist.

P.S. I'm mildly reminded of the time my friend made pancakes (although my friend had a bit more success than Trace).

So, it looks like trace is trying too hard. I do wonder if this is evil mask thing's doing, considering flora might be jealous that Maddie (the stowaway) gets better food than her. Either that, or the mask/evil trace was distracting him this whole time.

Jeez, look at those eyes. I really get how she's so quickly getting a fanbase. If she's actually super manipulative then she may be able to count me as one too. I'm a sucker for those types, hehe.

Some astute commentator suggested in the last panel that Maddie might actually still be in her cell, and that this "Maddie" is whatever killed the Arms General. I'm beginning to doubt even more that this is really Maddie.

She seems to be acting too evil and manipulative, and it's hard to imagine that a Basitin officer would play the role of a helpless little girl, or try to incite a mini-mutiny on a ship at sea. Basitins have a pretty profound understanding of the importance of order and discipline, to put it mildly.

(On the other hand, it's possible that Maddie being a lieutenant was an arbitrary decision by Tom. A lieutenant is a commissioned junior officer, and a fairly serious rank (they are usually the ones who actually lead troops in battle). I can't reconcile the rank with her alleged age or actions.)

We know that Trace can't cook, and furthermore was irritated at "Maddie" and not even trying. I suspect that "Maddie" was using some supernatural influence to make Trace capable of cooking her a good meal.

But seriously, this is just hilarious. Still, I feel that Flora's bad mood towards Eric can't/shouldn't have evaporated so fast. A bit too cheery overall, maybe.

I love Flora's face in the third Panel. Dunno why but I just do. Also, when she calls Trace "Dear" it kinda makes it look like they are like a married couple. Weeeell I guess they are since Trace gave her that necklace.

That's magic Trace know hoe to cook now, by the way the Team Maddie Flo is awesome and funny , it's kind to Trace to cook like that for her and it seem all the drama passed out. Now I'm sure Flora want the same breakfast because she must be hungry after all theses emotions :3
