Still, it's showing a lot more individual emotion and self awareness to be something made up of a spell that shows the hearts desires. Just what did Natani create with that spell and how?

Typical, the comic goes up thirty-one minutes after I decide to go to sleep. Have to love that timing.

Anyway, I want to ask Keith “And what if she was real?! What would we do then?! Magic can do a lot of things, but it has its limits and we're dabbling in the unknown!”, but I don't think we as the readers know enough about the magic of their reality to make that kind of call and I don't know where else to go with it otherwise.

Okay, something screwed up on my end. According to the time difference between the time I'm reading on the computer and the post time here in the forums this was uploaded at 3:52 AM for me. I distinctly remember reloading the page (most likely with the F5 key) and not seeing any changes.

Hmmm, Laura does look like derp queen supreme in Panel 1. Though, the emotion she's showing at the end of the page could go either way. Laura's facade could be breaking when she says "I-I can't!" and "I don't know it!" (plus the tears, don't forget those). I feel as though an illusion would continue flat out lying, especially with it being driven by Keith. Ehh, but then again he does know Laura to be self sacrificing so an illusion could imitate that just as well.

Arg, ambiguous to the end. Classic Twokinds

Dammit!! Tom leaves us twisting in the breeze of uncertainty again!! He's getting too damned good at that. Altho it seems it IS just the illusion, there is doubt remaining... a potential that WE, as readers, can see, but which the characters (mostly) don't.

On a side note: I really like how he conveys the emotions on this page, both with art and the word balloons.
