Wow, things are getting complicated.

I suspected the squirrel was an evil influence. We know Scythe genuinely cares for Raine at least, and trading insults with Red is nothing new for him. Just leaving is out of character for him.


PS--I also see no missing word. If you mean "rather be thought a coward"--that's correct usage. You could say "rather be thought of as a coward," but both are correct.

I found the error! In the fifth panel, Sythe originally said “But if had to choose between your lives and mine…”. The ‘I’ between ‘if’ and ‘had’ was accidentally left out.

Aw, I was a moment too quick with my Ace Attorney panel shuffle. Just look at that excellent Cornered! backgrounds. At least I know that I chose right, giving DBE the Defense and Sythe the Prosecution.
Also, last panel: Zen's definitely up to something. The question is, who's his first target?
