Comic for Wednesday, February 4, 2015
ALT TEXT: "Roguish Charm"
Tom has later posted a high res pic of Mrs. Nibbly requested by a certain squirrel fan
I think 'a little roguish charm' can get you killed, Zen. I wonder how he managed to correct the inscription on that tree, with his claws or something?

I'm inclined to agree.asuszenfone5 wrote:I think 'a little roguish charm' can get you killed, Zen.
Also, for some reason I like Sythe's look of pure terror and Mrs. Nibbly's look of guilt.
P.S. Did this get updated for I got here?

I keep forgetting how similar Zen's hair style is to mine in real life...... Except my hair was recently cut and therefore is slightly shorter than Zen's....

Nope. Yeah, some facial expressions are priceless on this page. My fav is Zen's smug look in the last panelBadFoMo wrote:I'm inclined to agree.asuszenfone5 wrote:I think 'a little roguish charm' can get you killed, Zen.

That's not guilt, that's an elegantly suave "Who, me?"-ness.BadFoMo wrote:Also, for some reason I like Sythe's look of pure terror and Mrs. Nibbly's look of guilt.
Got to go, I still have a lot of serious ROFL'ing to finish...

More thoughts have occurred to me.
Was Sythe screaming because Zen had escaped, or that he crossed out his name and replaced it with his own?
Also, letting the squirrel who you named Mrs. Nibbly because she lived up to that name probably wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do.
P.S. Should I be concerned if I look at that scene where Sythe is calling Mrs. Nibbly a traitor and I'm reminded of this part of this song?

Wow, Tom is really pumping these out fast!
Also, that's an interesting move for Zen. I guess he doesn't really have anywhere to run to, and he must think he has better chances playing nice guy and trying to gain their trust rather than try to attack and overpower them once he became free.
Also, just raises more questions about our nibbly friend. Zen couldn't possibly have some sort of knowledge about or communication with her, could he?

Now that I think about it, this scene reminds me of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode Bad Replicant.asuszenfone5 wrote:I think its both, and the fact that Zen's standing there in all his naked gloryBadFoMo wrote:Was Sythe screaming because Zen had escaped, or that he crossed out his name and replaced it with his own?
Emory: Maybe we should just call the installer. I mean it's the same guy who did the prison laser rings.
Oglethorpe: The prisoner! HE'S ESCAAAAAPED!!!
Master Shake: Na, I'm over here.
Getting back to seriousness. That last scene where Zen explains that the whole point of his taking that mission was so that he could get in contact with Natani seems a little made up, and the very last scene makes me think that he still intends to carry out his mission. Am I the only one thinking this?
P.S. While I'm mentioning Aqua Teen Hunger Force, I remember hearing that the show is made using Photoshop and a few custom plug-ins. Not that I actually care for such a thing, but does anyone else think that an animated version of TwoKinds could be made in the same way (just watch the first couple episodes and imagine the comic being told like this)?

Well, i agree, it's as fake as my girlfriend. The only point of taking the mission was getting monies cause Zen's literally broke. So broke he couldn't get a poison efficient enough to take care of the girls once and for all.BadFoMo wrote: Getting back to seriousness. I am really interested in how Sythe was going to end his phrase 'in fact he...'. He what, gave him coffee?
Re: Comic for Wednesday, February 4, 2015
That's basically what he said. "The whole point of taking this job was so I could afford safe passage to reach my brother." He was broke and couldn't pay for safe travel to catch up with Natani.asuszenfone5 wrote:The only point of taking the mission was getting monies cause Zen's literally broke.
What's odd to me is that Zen says "As I said before, I have every intention of traveling with you!" I don't remember him saying that before.

I quite like the camera angles in this page, in particular, in panels 8 and 9. Awesome work as usual! And Tom wasn't joking when he said he was gonna upload more, was he?
