I'd like to think so too, and it would make some sense if my educated guess of the party becoming smaller (no, I don't think that Natani is going to die anytime soon) is actually true.

Group A currently consists of; Trace, Flora, Keith, Natani, Eric, Kathrin, Mike, Evals, Lynn and Maddie

Group B currently consists of; [Database error], Sythe, Maren, Karen, Zen, Raine and Mrs. Nibbly.


I could easily see Group A being divided into three/four groups consisting of;

Trace, Flora, Eric, Kathrin, Mike and Evals for Group A1; but later separating into just Trace and Flora.

Keith, Natani, Lynn and Maddie for Group A2

Mike and Evals will most likely stick together to form Group A3 or stick with A1.

Eric and Kathrin might form Group A4 if Kathrin doesn't decide to tag along with A2 and Eric decides not to follow.


Anyway, if it does end up just being Trace and Flora for Group A1, Keiren being a new member of that group could easily give them someone else to bounce off of for their conversations and essentially be a tour guide to show them all what has changed since they've been away.

Absolutely love that fifth panel showing Trace's face. The lighting and shadows gives it a really ominous and intimidating feel. It's also awesome to see the comics coming out so quickly! Great work on that, Tom

Kei really does feel massively guilty about his past with Flora, though. Kinda feel sorry for him.

Pay closer attention to panel 1. Trace is NOT being jealous here, Flora has done everything short of screaming for him to protect her. Then she goes through the grandmother of all emotional flip-flops starting panel 6, so it's no wonder Trace has completely lost his guard by the time Kei calls him "runt".

It looks like he doesn't know it's Trace, and also 'boy' is often used as a derogatory and patronising sort of insult to someone.
