You just barely beat me to posting it BadFoMo. Lol. Anyways I shoulda figured something like this would happen. I find it humorous that the one that keeps his eyes practically shut noticed all those things about the Apothecary.

Maddie looks absolutely Badass in this page! I predicted it a few months ago that this guy was going to come back, go to "Help" Natani and stab her in the chest... Seems I wasn't too far off.

it scares me how Lynn can sense all this stuff, thought the fact the apothecary seems to ovoid eye contact should give off warning signs.

He's up against what we have just observed to be a living lie detector. And as for Maddie being able to pick up that they are being watched, gotta remember that Basitin ears are not just for show.

Not the first time he opened his eyes. I'm glad to see that the Ambassador General has such a skilled entourage.

He just tried to lie to a professional spy and the personal assistant of more than one controversial political figure.
He had no chance. No chance at all.

What surprised me is Keith. He's usually so cynical and guarded, I wasn't expecting him to accept that story so easily. I guess Natani's condition must have him really thrown off and desperate.

His action may be a "bit" understandable in times of war, but it's still a bit controversial that a healer tries to deceive them. This is why we need Red Cross.
Also, when Maddie enters badass-mode, her eyes start glowing. This is interesting because Lynn's gemstone starts glowing when he enters badass-mode. I always suspected that it's not a simple piece of jewellery.

It doesn't seem to me that this healer is intentionally trying to cause harm...
It sounds like he went to the town guards or something after Keith spoke to him, and they're pressuring him to go back and pretend to change his mind while they watch from the shadows. Maybe they just want him to report on how many wolves are there, what's the status of the threat, etc.
In any case, it sounds like this healer guy is reluctant to go along with this whole thing...

Hm, Keith's instincts seem to have dulled significantly from his worry over Natani. Either that or I romanticized Keith in my head.
