Wait, I thought Basitins don't use magic because of the mental side effects that come from using it. Assuming Lynn has had to train at some point in his life, shouldn't he be displaying some of the effects of magic use already? unless there's the possibility that Lynn isn't entirely what he seems to be and in that case what is he?

You're not wrong, but I'm pretty sure Sea's the one who made the ice barrier in order to prevent Lynn from reaching Keith.

Well, as it was pointed out to me in a previous thread by amenon, Lynn is referenced by the King as a "he" in comic 577, so we have pretty substantial evidence pointing in that direction.

If that potion was made through magical means, it may very well have great effect on Lynn as magical mind altering things have worked quite well on Keith as we've seen in the past.
