And no, I don't think Tupperware (or Avon, for that matter) is really an MLM, in spite of their "coerce your friends into a Tupperware party" activities. I just couldn't think of any other "real" MLMs... lazy

I did some research, and I was surprised to learn that it originally was an MLM, and still sort of is out of tradition. Thankfully though, that tradition has died in severity as the years have passed; unlike other companies, I think they realized that MLM isn't a sustainable form of business anymore.

Cutco's knives are alright - Certainly better than others at that price point unless you import, but they certainly aren't as good as anything I'd call professional. My favourite part about them is how they sell in stores and emphasize the recruitment part under the name "Vector Marketing Strategies".

My parents got roped into Cutco one time. Knives aren't bad, but I remember that the first thing I received after leaving HS graduation was an invitation to start selling knives for them...
