With the completion of the book, I'm loving what Tom's putting his free time into now. This is the most updates I've seen in quite a while.

I bet he's going to draw dark magic into himself, then the mana tower absorbs it from Trace and goes boom.

However I don't think that's going to happen, if Trace would escape now then the story has almost ended (assuming the final part is getting to that town where the different species live alongside in peace)

Anyway, I keep forgetting that Trace has that huge amount of dark mana. I doubt Trace is doing this, the sink draws all mana, and since Trace was already carrying that load.... BAM! I sense a tower explosion!

I somewhat doubt that Trace is doing this knowingly too.. More like a side effect that the Master Architect obviously didn't expect.

So many possibilities. Is Trace trying to do the most desperate thing he can think off, wanting to escape at all costs? Or is it Old Trace taking control, confident in knowing what he's doing? Has the sink simply started to drain Trace's life force away in lack of normal mana? Is this something the Master Architect did not forsee? Or was he planning this? If so, what does he gain from it? Killing off his old Grand Templar... Or bringing him back? So, many, questions. So many wonderful questions.

I hope for God's sake that we won't get another scene change with the next update. Speaking of wich, Tom does seem to be speeding up with them. Why? You people seem to know many times better than me.

Oh! And also, great job with the blood-corpuscles getting tainted with dark mana, it looks amazing. *Thumbs up*
