And I STILL can't get a thread. DX
Eric manages to puzzle out what the Templar are doing in ONE COMIC, but still doesn't realize his head is on fire.
...yay?

Now there's a twist I didn't expect. Hmmm... why waste resources on a war when you can just make the enemy bash their heads against rocks and enjoy it, XD

Looks like Keith knew Vehra from his childhood.
EDIT: Oh! Looks like she made another appearance in the comic before.

What will Keith think when Eric explains this though? He's probably feel better about 'betraying' orders from Alaric then. That's one possible result.
Though this does mean that Alaric might also be going 'soft in the head' too, given that he's the only Basitin that we've actually seen using magic.

Oh wow I didn't even realize that, nice catch. I wonder if this will play some kind of role later?VolkswagenFox wrote:Looks like Keith knew Vehra from his childhood.

Oh God what have I done to my brain.....

I love Vehra, she's rather adorable. I feel bad for her though, It's not her fault she's a failed experiment >>
Nice eye man, I never would have remembered that!VolkswagenFox wrote:Looks like Keith knew Vehra from his childhood.

Wow, a lot of story and potential story in one page! Eric will save the day? (Or at least help everyone come up with a plan)?
Re: Comic for Saturday, 20th December 2008
Maybe. As with everything else, this is only speculation.avengedplatypus wrote:Alarics going soft?aj wrote:What will Keith think when Eric explains this though? He's probably feel better about 'betraying' orders from Alaric then. That's one possible result.

The fact that Keith knows Vehra will probably be used in the next comic, I think, unless we cut back to Trace. We'll see Keith's reaction to Eric telling the group that magic use damages Basitin brains, and possibly the group's reaction.
One other thing I thought of: this is magic use, not being near magic foci points (a la the towers), so it (the Tower) shouldn't be affecting Keith, or any of the Basitin other tan those 'trained' to use magic by the Templar.

I think Keith will want to warn Alaric of this threat to the Basitin race. Whether Alaric is 'too far gone' to understand the danger, or just too in on the whole political situation to want to listen, however, is another thing entirely...aj wrote:What will Keith think when Eric explains this though? I have absolutely nothing to do with the Cartoon Network "Uncle Grandpa" shows. Didn't even know it existed until today... and I sure wouldn't pick that name now I've seen one of them.

Re: Comic for Saturday, 20th December 2008
But considering how the Basitin are ordered and trained, once they know how to use the magic, I presume everyone will be taught it. And then the 'side-effect' kicks in...
