Quite a tacit update but appreciated and anticipated no less.

I was really rather hoping for more of a speech out of Alaric than this. Perhaps we'll get a bit more out of him during the fight. This seems so...stiff and formal; not at all like Alaric's general demeanor. I must say that the lightning strike in the background, right between them, in the final panel is supurb. It's a terrific punctuation for the moment.

Also, it would appear that Tom neglected the faded gray iris on Alaric's blind eye, which makes him look singularly bizarre.

What? Less than 5 pages when I get here! I'm guessing we are not gonna get another Alric goes form serious to hug scene here.... That would be funny though.

Maybe Alaric will just put down his sword and force Keith to kill him, as he cannot bear to strike Keith, but to spare the exile's life would be a failure as a Master General.

Btw, "Brother" with a capital?

It's capitalized the last time Alaric uses the term as well. It's actually fair under English grammar rules because it's being used as a proper noun, a title which directly refers to Keith, replacing the use of his proper name, and has no possible confusion inside its context. Sort of like me refering to "Mother" (obviously only my own mother, referred to with the word as a proper noun replacing the usage of her own name) vs. "a mother" (which could be anybody's mother and is just a regular noun).

Or with a bit of luck and cliché, Keith'll very quickly explain the tower's a trap; Alaric'll join them on the Tower destruction plan; and possibly join them on their journey afterwards. Then we can have some jealous action between Natani and Alaric too.

I think the question is - which does Alaric love more? His newfound magic, or Keith? Because I'm all for a hopeless battle between Keith and a magic-wielding Alaric.

It probably wont come to that, though.

The fight scene at the end of the Matrix trilogy between Neo and Smith suddenly popped in my head...

I do certainly hope that Keith can talk some sense into Alaric but the tower has probably already done its damage

Knowing the way these things work, there will be an epic battle, resulting in the end with Keith turning Alaric to his side.

I don't care what happens after, I just wanna see the battle. As long as no one gets killed, at least.

Oh wow...I must say I really enjoyed this page, alaric looks [censored]. Though his eyes in the 4th pannel (or lack therof) kinda creep me out...they dont look like they're closed..
