His neck/head (placing) looks a bit odd in the 4th panel though...

The Musclehead General has two dark lines under his eyes why. He's not in a match of football and the sun isn't in the sky.

Those lines have been there all along, only that they were curved before. So they may very well be painted, and I prefer them straight like this. It makes him look younger and more full of vigour, not old and tired.

The broken ground is simply by the force of his impact. What I wonder about is what happened with his head and neck; they look a bit odd/out of place... Can't be healthy.

When people jump from high places its a good idea to crouch, even just a little bit, in order to lessen the impact.

That's what he did and it's why his head looks like its resting on his armour. The angle makes it look wierd because he'd be leaning forwards.

I sense a heel-face turn soon in the future with this General. Really bad villians in this arc like the Intelligence General would never make a face like that.

'Musclehead' General looks younger than what we initially saw him as, I didn't even recognize him 'till Natani gave him the name, needs to be about as old as he looked when we first saw him, he looked more bad*ss then
