Re: Desktop search engine
Any idea why it might not be working? Is the operating system's built-in search not working?

Re: Desktop search engine
Well for one thing, it's discontinued, so I'm not surprised it doesn't work. As for what it provides... Well, there are a number of things you can do to replace it.
If you're on Mac OSX, then widgets come built-in, and so does Spotlight, which is used to search for pretty much anything in your computer. Alfred 2.0 is a program which greatly improves upon Spotlight for searching and quick-command functions.
If you're on Windows, Launchy seems to be a good alternative, search-wise, but I'm not sure if it'll search online or only locally.
