Pff. The people at my school today were walking around campus with t-shirts and hoodies on, myself included. It was -22°C with windchill earlier here.DarkTheImmortal wrote:Same thing here next to the mountains. No clouds, no snow. Aurelia the Baroness was just released for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! and she is fun.
I've always enjoyed playing classes that focus on critical damage or a specific element (in her case, cryo) for the challenge, and she can be either. And her lines are great. She's half Ice Queen Rich [censored], and half clueless child. And incredibly sadistic.

Dis's why I love New England. You can always tell the difference between those who have and haven't lived here their entire lives by how affected they are to the cold. I seriously saw a guy on a motorcycle one year, in six inches of snow. Liek a baws.ticoun wrote:Dang californians and their lack of resistance to coldjudah4 wrote:darn Canadians and their high resistance to cold.Myperson54 wrote:Pff. Seriously, everyone I know can wear a T-shirt in sub freezing temps, and a sweater in upper 90 F. Me included.
I just like average temps better.

Northern Cali and even central can get pretty damn cold... As well as a select few places in the south, mainly in the mountains.
In general, California has a lot of different climates >.>

Norcali here. I'm wearing a tshirt, two sweaters, and a hoody and I am still cold when it's below 50 F in the mornings and at night. Anything below 70 F is "cold" to me.Divenity wrote:Southern Californians*ticoun wrote:Dang californians and their lack of resistance to cold

Here in the way up north of Michigan I haven't so much gotten used to the cold, I still wear a coat when it is cold, rather I just like the cold. I want it to be sub-zero (F) all the time. I'll be wearing a coat, hat, gloves, and face protection if it is windy, but I will love it.DarkTheImmortal wrote:Dang everywhere that isn't Colorado and their non-resistance to heat and coldticoun wrote:quotes on quotes on quotes
But [censored] hot weather. If I ever moved down south (as in Texas or something) I think I'd die in the summer.

I'm an anomly here in southern Cali. I can handle 50-60 with shorts and a tshirt for say half an hour but if I'm going to be out there any longer, I'll need a hoodie or something. I always wear shorts though, even in California coldTinyVoices wrote:Norcali here.
