Welcome to the Dungeons and Dragons Adventurer’s Academy.

You are one of our hapless students of the Waterdeep Academy looking to make your way to fortune and glory. You have all come for one reason or another, we honestly don’t care. We will teach you how to be a successful dungeon delver and dragon slayer. We teach you proper maiden rescue and give you the needed experience towards the highly sought after Hero License. Which after earned allows you free reign adventuring.

Each class will be separated into four member groups and set to assignments out in the world to complete to earn their grades in real life situations. Classroom work will consist of weapon practice, trap avoidance, spell practice, and ancient evil identification. Each and every one of you will live and work on campus till the day you leave with your Hero License, or die.

Special Skill: (a very specific description on a skill that your character has)
Role-Play Rules

1. Forum Rules.
2. Post like you would write a story, be detailed
3. Killing is allowed but only if the user agrees to that.
4. NO GODMODDING
5. Be reasonable about attacks, and no never being hit.
6. You are not a hero, you can die, and you can be outnumbered.
7. Romance is allowed
8. Your character must be approved by me before you are allowed to post.
9. Follow the rules and make the Rp fun for everyone
10. This is placed in Faerun, please be a bit experienced in that world before you sign up.

I have never played dungeons and dragons before, but would the different classes and gender's make any major difference's that I should know about if I wanted to join?

Although I may not know much about this adventure, There are certain bonuses for certain races, but if you talking about is one race proffecient with something, not really. Your a dwarf you could totally be a hunter, and an elf can still hurl a fireball. You might say people pin classes to races. lol anyway thats how I see it! ^^

No knights? i want to make a giant meat shield but not be obligated to a major deity for my powers....

Also should we know 3.5 home brew or 3.5 open game, when you say pick a race, do you mean pick one of the generally acceptable normales races, or pick ANY of the over 1000 playable races in 3.5?
