Is Tom still working on it? There hasn't been a progress update in almost a year...

thats wat ive been thinking

A year ago when he finished half the book in two days, recently after the first was finished, I was concerned that it'd come to soon. There has to be a long pause between books so the author has breathing time. If he finished it way back then, we'd be expecting the third book sooner than he could give it to us. He hasn't really stopped working on it, he just put it on hold until he could finish it when he wants. Didn't take him a number of years to finish the first book? I don't know how long, but I think it was a few.

That is true, Dlemon, but Tom also had a ton more work to be done for the first Book. He redid all of the first pages completely, even reinking them (not sure if he resketched them). That much work isn't needed for the other pages, which explains how half the book got finished in less than a week. Too bad he hasn't had the time (or mood) since, to continue (even if ever so slowly, like a page a month).

Still waiting eagerly for any news. ^^ .

I'd imagine that the work that has been done, if you look at the stuff that's complete, was just him taking stock on everything that he didn't need to do. Pages that were already saved at proper resolution, pages that were done for the first book that just need to be put back in, like the map page, or pages that just needed some minor edits. He might've worked on a few pages in that time, but its hard to believe he managed to finish 75 pages in less than a week unless they were practically already finished. Otherwise it would take less than an hour a page, and I doubt Tom is so busy that he couldn't manage an hour over the past year to do one or two, or would remain so unmotivated that he wouldn't do a few. At any rate, Tom likely still plans to do a second book, and just hasn't had the time to work on it. Or the progress has been slow enough that it didn't warrant updating this thread.

I am looking forward to the next book, however long it might take.

Argh, I couldn't wait, I went and read the entire archive today. Now I'm exhausted lol.

hmmm mabe a mod should make a pre order list ready for tom?

Tom will likely open a preorder thread when he is ready, just like he did for the first book.
