Kopaka1996's art and sketches

#1 Post by Kopaka1996 »

I've drawn this image, inspired by the webcomic Slightly Damned:

Image

Some pixel art of Trace and Flora:

Image

The person on the right is Trace, seen from behind, and the monster-dragon-thing on the left is one of Trace's hallucination (like in page 707); that's not related to the story, but I just wanted to draw it.

What do you think of it?

Nice The wings are well drawn :3 You should rename this thread, something like Kopa art or something like that.

Thanks! As of the wings, it will take forever to color them :?

Lookin' good!
As for the max image size, I'd say as long as it doesn't stretch the page like hell it's ok. I usually don't go wider than 1000 px.

The problem is that I didn't use normal paper, I used gray paperboard and a blue pen... I know, I'm stupid (;_;)

Re: The pixel art images.

At that size, I wouldn't have given them pupils. Then the resolution makes them look strange because you did give them pupils.
If every cloud had a silver lining, there would be a lot more plane crashes.

The black pixels aren't the pupils, thy should be the border of the iris, I know it doesn't look so good, but I can't find a better way to make the eyes... =/

You said it was inspired by SDamned? If you want to be closer to that, then you'll need to give him hair dye. The clothing trim colours would suggest water angel, but blue probably doesn't go with blonde. IIRC, wind angels wear yellow trim and have yellow hair dye, meaning you'd just need to make the tips of his hair white.
If every cloud had a silver lining, there would be a lot more plane crashes.

Since he's a guy, he'd have white hair with blue tips.

Oh yeah.

I didn't check the site. I thought it was the other way round. I was imagining Kieri with mostly white hair.

When i wrote that it's inspired from SDamned I meant that I had the idea to draw an angel reading the comic, but I decided not to follow the "rules" of the comic and, instead to colour it like I wanted.

I thought that was likely. Nice work anyway.
